Drawings may show elevation, depth or multiple views of a design. Good Example:
Your line drawing shows the basic dimensions of your project
Poor Example:
The basic dimensions of the project are not clear, back to the drawing board

Your drawings are clear, and you show that you are thinking in 3D even though you are drawing in two dimensions. Even if you are not using more advanced techniques yet, you are getting there.
Good Example:
- Your line drawing is clear and begins to use dimensioning and symbols
- Your drawing is somewhat accurate and detailed, even if it does not show depth
Poor Example:
- Your drawing does not use dimensioning and symbols
- Your drawing is not very accurate, and it needs many more details

When can we hire you? Your drawings are clear and show multiple views -- like plan, elevation and section -- and drawings show depth. You are using lineweights and linetypes with confidence. You have also mastered dimensioning and symbols.
Good Example:
- The line drawing clearly shows the dimensions of your project
- It is accurate and detailed, with a good understanding of depth
- It uses a variety of lineweights and linetypes as well as symbols
Poor Example:
- Your line drawing starts to use dimensioning and symbols, but it does not feature them throughout the project
- Your line drawing is somewhat accurate but lacks focus on the details
