This project is outstanding example of developing a project from early design sketches to a fully modeled solution. Really appreciate the 3D views of the water wall. Excellent example combining the art of design with technical development.

Nice use of materials and good on applying native green-life to the site you chose. This would really help your park with having a natural sitting arrangement around trees.

True, that there is a lot of green life in the park, but if you look at the aerial view in "developing solutions", there is also an equal amount of hardscapes, concrete, wood, and seating as well. I have studied the area and found that there aren't too many "green spaces" around the Art District, thus I found it necessary to add vegetation and plants in the park. As you've said, having trees, grass, and bushes are integral - and that's why I've created the Arboretum. This way, the vegetation that is placed serves more than just one function; instead of just being aesthetically appealing, visitors can also learn more about the indigenous plants of the valley, enjoy the fruit-bearing trees that aren't too commonly seen in the city of Las Vegas, and allow them a place of relaxation from the bustle of the city.

Having a mural wall which artist can display graffiti art is a fantastic idea. In downtown Las Vegas there is already a fantastic displays of graffiti that shows graffiti can be beautiful pieces of art rather than just vandalism. If teenagers had the chance to view fantastic graffiti art, which you display always for, teenage would use there talents for that instead of vandalizing building or billboards. Great Job overall!

This is a really good use of space and it can also be improved on by having a pavilion shading structure in place with some grassy and regular seating area.

I aimed to incorporate a lot of the art culture into the park, and would like for people to have a place to gather and relax when they are shopping or visiting the nearby Art complexes. Thank you, Pumbaa!

Yes! I chose this site because the shape of the lot is really unique, angled and small enough for the guidelines' requirement (less than 14,500 sq. feet). In the final design, I've also included that the mural will be changeable throughout the year - which will encourage local artists to have their works displayed, and etc. I have considered parking, but I have looked more into Google Earth, and the actual complex has more parking in the back, at least more than what this picture shows. (And less parking, may even encourage people to use their bikes instead!)

I like how this idea emphasizes on a growing and evolving community in the downtown area. It will keep the park a consistent attraction for both tourists and locals. Great job!

I like how you allowed a bike storage for people who use bikes. These streets are heavily trafficked by cars so having an alternative to walking is much appreciated.

Consider the usability of the hydration station during the summer time, especially when the heat will easily heat up the station and cause the water to boil.
