Thank you JG. Next time I embark on the very thrilling process of designing a site, I will make placing the end rendering in the actual environment one of my top priorities. Because of the complexity of the pre-exisitng design, placing the rendering alongside the actual environment proved to be a very time-consuming task.

Thank you JG. The safety of the children who explore and reign about my park is absolutely crucial. Parents visiting shouldn't have to worry *too* much about the design of the park and its consciousness regarding the health of the child. Parents have a lot to stress about anyways, the last thing they need is a dangerous park! I made sure to consider not only the children, but the parents as well.

Thank you JG. The Collect Info phase, alone, took one whole week to complete! Looking back on the orientation of this section's display of information, I've realized how important it is to both the developer and the client. It is important to make the reading as simple and convenient as possible, instead of a confusing info dump!. Next time, instead of linking each individual photo, I may compile multiple photos into one infographic so that the viewer doesn't have to open a plethora of links! (the infographic would also include descriptions like you mentioned!). As for what's being elaborated in this section, the viewer is looking at objects and arrangements that already exist. Next time, I will try to explain how this relates to my design more clearly, aside from I previously wrote, "In this section I will attempt to help the reader better understand the literal formatting of the chosen pocket park by describing the layout in detail alongside several photos in a non-verbose, concise manner (similar to programming). The aim of the following text is to establish a definite view of the park, so that later whenever I call particular structures into question, the reader can identify them with ease. I am doing so because it is in both my client and I's best interest.". Thank you JG!

Thank you bderoo. Due to the complexity of the site and its pre-existing design, I found it quite difficult to both photoshop the original design out and replace it with the newer version. I have learned that doing so will require a great deal of time, so in the future I will have to set aside an adequate amount of time to properly represent the surroundings (the first step of solving a problem, is to first concede its existence!). As for solar energy, given the shading's position above the play structure, this provides a great opportunity for harnessing the power of the sun. The shading wraps around both sides of the recreational structure, meaning it will always absorb the incoming energy, no matter the position of the sun (except at night of course). The matter of where to store this energy and its uses is a separate but important discussion. Including solar panels would be a very smart move, thank you bderoo! (I apologize for the late response, I needed to take the time to study for my finals)

Thank you bderoo. Apart from observing the visitor's interaction with the pre-existing park, I asked both my family (frequenters of the park!) and the friends of my younger sister what they interpret as flaws that need fixing as well as things the pre-existing park accomplished well. The biggest response had to have been the awkward flow, how most of the tables were not connected via concrete and that all of the seating appeared to be cramped on one side of the park. (I apologize for the late response, I needed to take the time to study for my finals)

Thank you bderoo. Based off what I have read detailing the methods of regulating and predicting flow, circulation remains a large factor. (I apologize for the late response, I needed to take the time to study for my finals)

I'd love to see this rendering placed in the actual environment!

I appreciate your consideration of both the technical requirements as they relate to hazards, but also ADA compliant.

This is incredibly thorough! Would it be simpler to link to your gallery on deviant art? http://modus2015.deviantart.com/gallery/
Also, for ease of reading, a short description in the title of the image on the other site would be helpful. There's so much information that as a reviewer I have to go back and forth between the image and the description here. I think the text box on DD.org restricts urls, yet linking in the description itself would be simpler for you as well!

On a less technical note - am I looking at objects and arrangements that already exist -OR- decisions you've made as a part of your final design? Remember, we are viewing this chronologically, so explaining how these relate to your final design is important!

Goof job collecting info. Re-using the existing park is a unique approach, when you talked with other people about the design locally what did they think?
