Middle Line Park
|My park will be a park that appeals to the people in the area of the lot off Garces Ave and S 6th St. I want the park to be somewhere to relax, a place for adults, and provide shade. Adults will want to come here to meet other people, or to sit down and eat, read, or just hangout. The plant life will make the air fresh, and the park colorful. My park, overall, will be a place of relaxation and comfort.

It really looks like you spent a lot of time pulling resources and doing research about what would be a best fit for your park. I really admire the time you took to figure out what type of vegetation would go best in the landscape. I also thought your idea to add art to your park was such a great idea as public art and playscapes sometimes go hand in hand. Overall your work is really solid.
I would have liked to see you take more cues from parks that exist in Las Vegas or other cities in your region. It was hard for me to imagine how all of your brainstorming and solution development was going to come together based on the specific parks you referenced as inspiration.
In addition I would have really liked to see more variety of images, angles, and depth when you were showing us your final park images--remember people looking at your work may have not been to this specific region, you need to help us understand the area.
Great work!
