Hello thegodsofsoccerr07. I've enjoyed reviewing your project and learning more about your ideas. I really like how you identified some specific problems here in the Overview and the Collect Info stage that helped inspired your Final Design (downtown location, groves of trees to limit UV rays/skin cancer, plants that don't require water). I also really like how you identified a specific site for your park and did some research on the neighborhood!
.
But in the Develop Solutions and Final Design phases, I would have liked to see more about how those issues informed your design decisions. Example: What is the path of the sun in the Las Vegas sky during the summer and winter - perhaps your shelter could react to the movement of the sun to protect people. Example 2: What types of plants grow best in desert cities? Where could they be used to provide variety throughout the year?
.
Finally, your final model almost looks as if it is floating in the ocean. Maybe with a few more hours of model making, you could drop this model into the surrounding neighborhood or map to show us how it relates to the context. Keep going!

This park looks very nice. There is an abundant amount of vegetation, which is definitely a great factor for the desert environment in Las Vegas. The benches near the trees are also great because it provides shade for the sitters.

It is awesome how much you thought about type of vegetation suitable for the area. This combination will be great for the park.

I really enjoyed looking at your park, especially this aerial view because it shows that the site is not necessarily the biggest space but you did well with it. Good job.

Your park is grand! Those trees will give the park a lot of shade, especially during the summer. I love the way you set up your paths. It seems quite relaxing! I would go walk at your park.

Very open while offering alot of shade because of the trees. Well thought out and designed. Great job.

It is great that you have an understanding of who may be near your park. It is important to know how the park will be designed based on the community surrounding it.

Your park is amazing! It's really nice planned out and it's nice that you have a very open park so that people can come in through many ways, yet you also included many trees to make it seem not so open. Your entrance is really nice also, I'd visit here as many times if I could, seems so relaxing :)
