Above are four images of the site I have chosen and the surrounding community. My site will comprise of three empty lots that run along side the interstate and total size adds up to approximately 0.33 acres or 14374 square feet. The first picture shows the lot that will house the Urban Farm for the community to grow their own crops creating healthier and cheaper lifestyles. The second picture shows the Urban Market area where there will be shade structure that will house the market and there will be a sitting area for shoppers or community members to chat and get to know their neighbors better. The third picture is the entertainment section of the tri-pocket park which a large shed structure covering a sitting area and an amphitheater to hold community gatherings like pot lucks. The final image is a google street image of a house right around the corner from the proposed pocket park. This images shows the existing excitement for nature and vibrant community.
