Park-itecture

Site Inventory
- 5 Pine Trees |
• 3 are alive, 2 look like they are dying |
• All look quite aged and not vibrant |
- Mostly a dirt lot, abundance of dead grass scattered throughout the site |
- Corner is covered with brick tile |
- One small walkway into the lot |
- Heavy urban area, located by multiple offices | I will be removing all current trees on the site due to their unappealing appearance, despite the possibility that they still might be very alive. My reasoning for this is that I would like Park-itecture to grow with the community around it, hence why there will be newly planted trees within the pocket park.

Bicycle Cities
Biking is a popular -& green!- way to travel. Yet if there is nowhere to lock up your bike, people may be discouraged to use their bike to get around. Did you know that you can Request a new bike rack in your area? Cities all over the U.S. have multiple types of bike racks they can install and all you have to do is submit a request.
