Although the Container Park is not a pocket park - more of a shopping center with a park element - "the treehouse" allows a space for shoppers of all ages to come and enjoy. Rather than focusing on the extravagant place house centered in the establishment, I was inspired by the recycled use of containers. Shipping containers are used to ship goods, but in recent years there's been a huge push to find reuse for these metal monsters as cost-efficient, economical buildings. Seeing as the site lacks shading, as a shelter, I began research to use a shipping container as a shelter.
