Pocket Park Design: Wilted Lettuce Park | 2015 National High School Architecture Competition

For this idea, I wanted to create a rounded triangular site. This plan would be very open where each element is connected to one, almost like an amusement park of greenery. To complete this back and forth adventure type pattern, each area will maintain a wooden bridge tying everything together effectively making it, a free flowing plan. There will be trees all around the base to provide a sense of shade, just like the Lubertha Johnson Park from my "collecting information page." A playground that will tie the adults and children of the area into one place. The triangular formation of the park works almost as an arrow leading all park-goers to the stage area of the park, the "point". The stage can feature anything from live bands to plays and will be the center of attraction within the park.
