A rough sketch of the east view, west view, and top view of the arboretum. This sketch allowed me to visualize the elevations that I wanted to create in the pocket park. Though much different from it's design, a lot of its influence comes from New York, New York's Paley Park - which is also a pocket park that's nestled in-between two buildings. I have decided to place drought-resistant trees in the Arboretum, and to place blooming desert plants that is well suited for the dry climate in Las Vegas.
