Pocket Park 2015
05/11/15
As the ventures of architecture and all that it encompasses progresses forward into an unpredictable future, sustainable design and its mindfulness of the surrounding environment is rapidly becoming a must for designers. To give back to nature, I will make it a priority to provide as much greenery as possible. I have composed an info-graphic listing some plants native to southern California (it is important they are native!). These plants can handle the dry conditions present in the south, and are very drought tolerant (A1). These features are crucial if they wish to withstand the current lack of water in California. Because these plants don't necessitate constant tending, Murrieta's Community Service neighborhood park budget can welcome some cuts toward its projections.
