To provide color as well shade for the area, I decided upon a Red Push Pistache, a hardy tree that will survive well in the water strapped Las Vegas valley. Every good park is in need of a variety of color and verdant vegetation, and the Pistache provides this to a T. From the SNWA: Small flowers arrive in spring before the tree leafs out. Attractive bark. Prune for shape and to lift the crown if desired. Some litter from leaves and fruit twigs. Excellent summer shade tree
