When I was strolling through the vast images of Google, I stumbled upon this picture. I'm not sure why, but it just caught my attention. Possibly due to the fact that I've never seen such a green design as this one. I wanted to implement some sort of green element to my design after viewing this, which is was originally uprooted the desire for sustainable lighting through solar lamp posts. Also, the design itself was most definitely unique and that's exactly what one of many goals for my site was. Something in my site had to stand out from the others just like this image stood out versus all the others in my eyes and hopefully other's eyes. Then it sort of just clicked...I wanted to add some element of a water source in my design, but I wanted it to be recyclable or sustainable. So, with elements of shedding off flood waters I thought of a sort of water capturing system in the river of rocks that could be sued to provide water to the fountain.

I have a hunch that what makes this photo interesting to you is the idea of layered greenery, where nature meets architecture. Maybe your final design could have explored a multi-layered green space like this!
