This view was purposed to capture the main viewpoint of the individuals flowing into my pocket park. This view also provides for a view of the sights openness and utility. Looking from outside of the park one can see the beautifully coordinated planting of the foliage and hopefully notice the escape within. Once you get into the center of the park you should be somewhat shield from the outter layer of chaos and business surrounding the park.

The park is very simple but it works. You have open space for people to enjoy and hang out at the park. I'm not sure how much shading will be there since the trees are quite a distance from the main vocal point but it's a great design. I like how people would be able to interact with one another around the fountain.

I think the light poles are distracting the park itself. I don't think you need that much of light poles to provide lighting during the night time.

It looks like there would be an entry way that is blocked by a wall. I'm reminded of Richard Serra's "Tilted Arc" sculpture. This sculpture was simply a large metal wall that cut through a plaza and made everyone have to walk around it. It make people angry, but very aware of their position in a space. It was both successful and unsuccessful in all of the right ways! I'm interested if you had a similar idea for your park.
