One of the inspirations for this element was the botanic gardens at Springs Perserve, which features a large variety of desert plants. The circular courtyard on the eastern side of the park, showcases multiple plants in elevated planters to allow for shading and seating. The decidous tree in the center of the courtyard is meant to allow shading to visitors.
