Maybe think about details regarding the water aspect of the wall. Since you are designing something in the desert you may want to think about the various costs associated with sustaining this structure. You also may want to consider how the chess table may be utilized with maximum efficiency due to the heat, heating the chess pieces during the summer.

Nice job! I really enjoy how visually interesting your park is. The shape of the park is pretty cool and you used a lot of materials that work well together. I also thought it was great how you tried incorporating the community into your park with the mural wall. It's a really good idea for a park in the arts district.

I just have to comment on what a good job you did on your sketches. It was very clear what you wanted. I also enjoyed the background information that you gave on the site so good job on that. very creative!

If you are going to use wood for the walkways, i might suggest that you make it something that will stand up to the varying weather in Las Vegas, heat and rain can often lead to wood getting warped if it is not sealed properly

This seems like a good location to put a park. Since it is in the Arts District, you could definitely use it as a place for local artist to come show off their work. Also, one of the nice things about this site is that it is relatively sheltered from the elements by the two buildings around it. The only thing that you might have to worry about is that the park may cut off some of the parking spaces for the buildings

This is a really great idea! Art has proven so effective in creating a social space and the fact that your mural is created by the community itself will definitely garner a lot of visitors!

I like the idea of your park, however, I do think that there are too much "green" in the park. Having trees, grass, bushes is important but I do feel like it's a bit overwhelming in this park.
