It's simple and very familiar design to us. However, I would have added more shadings within the green area by adding more trees.

I think the layout of the park is great, simple but effective. Although, I do believe it could have used more shade structures for certain things, such as the picnic tables, playground and possibly even the swing sets.

What type of grass? Since the park is located in Las Vegas, you should consider Zoysia grass because it is doesn't need as much water.

I honestly really love the simplicity of this. It is simple, yet it contains everything that a park should.

I like the straightforward layout of this park, but I feel that you could have cut down on the paths, or at least have re-positioned them, and provided more grass space for people to partake in recreational activities. Also, I feel that you would benefit from having some lower views of the park to highlight individual areas.

There has been placement of Palm trees in the final design which was one of the options i had stated, i wanted to have a tree that was decently attractive and could survive the climate of Las Vegas, i analyzed the type of trees for a Las Vegas climate, that does not mean all of them will be integrated in the design.

Good analysis of plants that are efficient for the Las Vegas climate. However, your final solution does not have these plants in your final design.

Very useful tool for analyzing the weather of Las Vegas, since it is very different from other areas around the United States. This will prove useful for future designs and to remind what kind of facilities are efficient in your design process.
