I like the different zones for people - kids, families, and public around the fountain. I think it has a bit much grass for Las Vegas, and would benefit more from shade trees. How could you design the tables, equipment, or signage to be unique to your park and not just standard pieces? You might also think about using landscape (hills, water, rock) in a more organic way. People generally prefer twisting paths to walk on than straight.

Consider what surface the kids are playing on - looks like concrete here, which would be too hard. You might use woodchips or rubber to make it softer.

Nice model - but is probably too developed for this stage in the process. Brainstorming ideas should be about sketches and ideas - computer model a bit later.

I'd recommend some sketches of the area more than just photos. Drawing will clue you into small details you might miss in a photo. It forces you to really study an area.

I think having the trees stacked on a single side of the park doesn't provide the greatest view or shading capabilities as spreading them across the site would provide. Now, if you were going for a bit more of open space, then you've accomplished that. I also like the central area of your site where families could relax and enjoy an element the desert is not accompanied to.

I really like the introduction of a playground into your pocket park, however I feel that it lacks shade. Playgrounds, especially in Las Vegas, tend to be extremely hot during the day and it would be more beneficial to the public if you included some sort of shade whether its natural or if it comes from a shade structure.

I love the look of the park but I feel that the area closest to the row of trees should be more open to allow for larger recreational activities unless you were shooting for a more business oriented park.

Your park is very well placed out but the pond does seem closed off with the plants. If one were to be sitting down looking at the pond it'd be more of looking at the plants because they're covering it. Your park does seem really calm though, great job

I like the use of plants and other vegetation throughout the park, but I think having plants all the way around the pond makes it feel closed off to the rest of the park. The paths are very nicely laid out and I like the practical placement of the benches throughout the park.
