Bus shelters around the neighborhood are usually made up of glass all around, a roof and a bench. Bus shelters need more than just glass, roof and a bench. Instead of the bus shelter being open, the bus shelter I'm going to be constructing will be closed but have doors to be able to access inside. The reason that it's going to be closed is for those who don't want to be waiting for the bus in the heat, cold, rain, or snow. In the winter, the bus shelter will have a heater and in the summer it will have air conditioner. I will also include lights for people not to be waiting for the bus in the dark. Inside the bus shelter, I will include a bus tracker so people will know how long the bus will take and when it will be arrving. I will also put a map of all the bus stops and where the bus the person is taking, heading to. Instead of putting a bench for people to sit down, I will be putting together some recycled bus seats and put comfortable recycled cushions for people to feel comfortable in.
