In Chicago there is a lot of traffic congestion. main streets like Ashland have a lot of slow traffic. Traffic congestion cause people to be late for work or school. Bus Shelters are supposedly helping fix this issue of slow traffic, but only adds to the problem. The BRT (Bus Rapid Transportation) shelter is going to help create less of a problem with traffic congestion. What BRT will do is that it will give buses a private lane on the road so that it can help people get to their destination faster. Doing so will have more people use the Shelter to get to where they need to go quickly and not use their vehicles to go where they need to be. Overall this will cause less traffic.
