Good morning, I am an Architect in California serving on the competition jury. The 3-D renderings you designed where very helpful in understanding how your existing building was transformed with the addition of the skylight roof and outdoor seating. I noticed there was a comment about losing heat through the skylight roof, but i think you will have the opposite problem. The direct sunlight in the space will create too much heat inside. You should explore more ways to help control the amount of light coming in from the skylights. I'd like to sit in your new cafeteria and feel like I am siting under a tree, bathing in a soft, dappled sunlight.
