Dear Thea. I've enjoyed reading your Overview above. You have very clear ideas about what you imagine this new park to be / include. I love the ideas about floating graffiti or the community chalkboard. Your site analysis drawings in the Collect Overview step is also really strong - nice land use color coding and great solar path analysis!
.
Unfortunately, I can't identify how you translated your cool initial ideas into a design solution. In the Brainstorm phase it would have been good to see your research of other parks around the world that utilize graffiti walls. Or parks that have a community collaborative art space. In the Final Design, you seem to have changed course, which is ok, but you haven't really told us about what features your new design includes. More explanation is needed to help us see how your final design helps solve the problems you fist outlined in the overview. Keep going! You're on the right track!

I like your overall design but I don't quite understand the design. A better explanation would be helpful.

Very well designed park. I feel that the pictures need more explanations.

This is an excellent location for a park and your plans and ambitions for it would definitely work there. I hope you choose to keep at least most of this naturally occurring grass in the area in order to keep it eco-friendly.

Great site analysis. I like the fact that you also factored in how the sun will affect this park. It's important to keep shading in mind, as you don't want the people going to your park to expire.

The arches are a very good idea, they look very nice but the height of the arches might be a problem. I wish there was more writing so you could have developed your idea more.

Overall, the design of the park fulfilled the objectives mentioned in the overview, specifically making the whole lot aesthetically pleasing. The design failed, however, in integrating artistic designs that the designer wanted to show, The process of creating the final design also did not have enough explanation for certain features of the park seen in the Final Design. The designer simply emphasized what is found around the area, and he or she did not focus on how the park adapted to the whole environment. The designer could have added what type of vegetation was used. On the other hand, the Final Design met the standards of showing a model of a park.

The large arches seem to be a clever aesthetic choice. They add a draw-in factor to your design.

Is there any way that your park interacts with the buildings around it? It might have been a good idea to include the surrounding buildings ins your sketches so that it shows orientation (it'ts a little hard to tell which way your park is facing). Also, I would urge you to keep in mind what materials you plan on using, especially for the walking areas.
