Indoor and outdoor rooms can be positioned to take advantage of the sun. I want my kitchen, bedrooms, and roof-top patio to be facing the sun to take advantage of the natural light. Because of these factors I will position those features on the right hand side of the house since the sun will rise in the east and set in the west.
