The purpose of a school locker is to store your materials for your classes when you are not using them. The use of a locker hasn't changed since we entered kindergarten. We don't own an a locker because we think it's pointless to have a locker that we won't have time to use in between classes. We think that school administrators and teachers have a good amount of wary-ness about the safety of lockers. Lockers have a level of privacy that can be good for students to hide personal items but can also hide illegal things that shouldn't be brought on campus. Lockers are usually constructed from a metal that is hard but not so hard someone who need to get in it couldn't dent it.
