Since my current school library is on the fifth floor of the nine floors of my high school, I thought it would be best to examine what I had to work with inside rather than focus on the exterior of the building.

Accurate portrayal of how Brooklyn Technical High School's current Library looks.

Researching other Libraries that have recently been redesigned helped me to generate new innovative ideas for my library.

Incorporating the desires of real students who must utilize the library regularly should be a great way to make my library more "people-centric" and appeal to those who attend Brooklyn technical High School.

By improving the aforementioned aspects of my library I hope to make the library "people-centric" as opposed to its current state based upon practicality.

This collage of photos of my current school library shows that although there is a lot of space and an abundance of tables and chairs, there is no appeal to students aside from the monotonous completion of necessary assignments. It is not comfortable and there is a need for way more computers than there currently are.

This title block portrays a view of the fountain as well as the one of the bubble chairs quite well.

This Floor Plan encompasses the entire Library exluding the Fourth Floor Stairway Entrance.
