HONORABLE MENTION: 2013 national competition project | Library Redesign #255
Summary
So what i have decided to do was to take the room that wasn't being used and turn it into a little cafe, like it used to be. A smaller version of a lunch room, not made to accomadate a lot of people but just a few kids where they can sit, talk, and relax. Also, I figured a courtyard will be a ncie touch of scenery and activity for students to do, instead of sitting aroudn inside all day, they can take their studies outside at a picnic table or such. I decided to leave the computer lab alone since it is already made to accomadate today's day and age was was recently redone to do so. The study hall is too big, taking up a good portion of the building that can be used for storage of books or more elctronic equipment. Also, I would like to add some type of lounge area into the building, to distract from all of the technology and learning tools, to make the library seem more "fun".
