Redesign your school library | 2013 National High School Architecture Competition #379
|The Lane Tech building was dedicated on September 17, 1934. Since then, much of the library has remained untouched. Most of the woodwork has survived over the years, and gives the huge room a stately look. My goal will be to try and preserve as much of the original library as possible, and try and have anything that I may design reference the library in some way.

Good idea!
Hi, I am Mr. Wood, architect and High School Architecture and Engineering instructor in Orlando, Florida. I really like the fact that you intend to be respectful and responsive to your school's existing library space. I would like to hear more of what the design challenge is that is before you.
