2012 national competition project #097 | cafeteria redesign
|The Point of Project: Overhaul is to bring high school cafeterias into the future. Many High School Cafeterias are out of date. They are old, they are loud, they are expensive, and often times Visually Unattractive. As a high school student myself, i would like to change this. Lunch is like your break at work. It is meant to not only give time to let steam off of the day's occurring events, but also allows you to enjoy your time with friends and also be able to enjoy your lunch that all of us look so forward to eating. The ability to enjoy this is thrown off by the obstacle of old, out of date lunchrooms. Often times people find these eating spaces loud, and it makes it difficult to enjoy that conversation with your group of friends, especially when you cant hear yourself speak. It is also difficult when it is overcrowded... it gives people claustrophobia after the first lunch. I would like to take note on all of these problems and change this for the better of all students out there. Welcome to change, welcome to the 21st century.
