Project superawesomecafeteriathing
|Our school is located in a flood zone, which usually gets one major flood a year, sometimes getting more. The cafeteria and lower floor get the most damage with upwards of 6 inches of water in our building. With my cafeteria redesign project, i would bring the floor of the cafeteria approximately 1 foot higher off of the ground so it would recieve zero damage during any flood conditions.

i like the bears but u could add a few more
Wow. Those bears looks hungry and angry. Are NMHS students this grumpy about their cafeteria also?
.

Good concept!
Some suggestions:
Instead of lifting the cafeteria 1 foot, maybe the cafeteria can be up really high like 10 feet and be supported by a structure.
Or use your idea and make the cafeteria such that it looks like it is floating of the ground. Just some considerations!
what an idea! 10 feet is really good!
