Shipping Container House Design: Recent activity

I like how the way the containers are set, it creates a deck. I am a bit confused by what it would like inside. If it became funky would it be worth the trade off the cool look? Overall I really liked your desighn, it uses the most of the limited materails. -Nicholas Stem

You seem to be the only one to design with the parameters of cost and amount of containers to use. The only fit I have is that the kitchen is so slim the hot surface could cause problems in the surface.

I really like how your two roof angles are together, emphasizing both features.

I like how the roof has a 45 degree slope on the one end, is that where the stairs are.

I like the footprint of the house but I am worried about the interior of the house and if it is too narrow. I am also concerned with the lack of roof over top the upper level patio. Love the roof design.

Mya: I like the use of the roof of the first floor, but I think there could be more windows. I would also like to see the space on the first floor where the two containers connect.

I was wondering how you would make use of the area that has the triangular ceiling section. And what were you planning on putting on the roof that has the door to it? In that place, a garden or porch would be a good idea, but you've probably already thought of that.
