A New Park For A New Vegas
Summary
There are multiple examples of Pocket Parks in the Las Vegas some are:
• City Center- has concrete slabs as flooring with sitting areas in shade and the center piece is a sculpture.
• Summit ridge park- a bit big on the pocket park design. Have a grassy landscape and a shaded playground.
• Most of the kid friendly parks have a covered playground with the rubber matting. That can get replaced with recycled shredded tires.
• Paradise Pointe Park- a grass area surrounded by rock landscape. Does not have playground but it is more of a field than a playground park.
• Hidden falls park- Has a field surrounding a playground with concrete slabs and rubber around it with shading structures.
• North green valley Pocket Park Has two areas, one is a field with a lot of trees, and the second is a closed in playground.
• Hacienda park- in communities with a picnic table and a small round walking path surrounding a small grass area.
• Most of these parks are in and around the communities surrounding a specific area of the city.
• 6036 Paddleboat St- This is a park set back into the grooves between buildings it is centered with a playground area with concrete slabs for flooring.
Most of these parks are built for Children. There is still no place for adults to go out sit down in a nice quite area, besides the City Center and I will be building my park in that way.
