The Parks Park
|Since the park is close to schools I plan on putting swings and a jungle gym for kids to play on. A grass field is a must when it comes to a park this way kids have room to run around. While the kids run there will be a shaded area with benches and tables for parents to sit and watch their kids to make sure they are safe. Las Vegas, Nevada is a hot place so the use of water features to cool down everyone whenever they want. Sidewalks around the park will be put in this way people have a safe walkway and where you can take a bike or any type of skates.

Thanks for sharing your design. I appreciate your attention to the location of the site - it appears to be a great location for a pocket park focused on neighborhood kids. I would encourage you to do more research into the types of children's play spaces one can create. There are wonderful opportunities to use vegetation, sound, art, and topographic changes (hills, grade change) to bring interest and creativity to play space.
