Great job working through this project. I would have liked to see a little more developed final solution that showcases all of your great research. Keep up the great work!

The plan does look lush and green. An inviting pocket park. But this is in Las Vegas - an area prone to water shortages and drought. What if you used native landscape to reflect the climate of the desert? The trees and lush grass will take a lot of water.
Could also benefit from a model or renderings.

Good sketch, but...
"The final view of the gazebo will look roughly like this."
-this IS the final view!

Why does the water feature look like a foot? You should give evidence which helps us understand why you made the design decisions you did.

Great to see perspective drawing - could use color and plants to help give it a more lush feel. Also, I don't see the organic tree-like quality in your sketch as you had pointed to in the "collect info" section. It looks a bit rigid and orthogonal.

Good step - this is messy but it should be at this stage. Are there other design arrangements you considered?

Great summary, this is the first part of the project people encounter, and your description is intriguing.

I really like the element of greenery that you've incorporated into your pocket park. I don't think having THAT much green is exactly the best idea, but in most other environments this is so awesome. Personally, having a hidden sort of escape with a beautiful garden sounds pretty nice lol.

One of the most powerful features to the design of this park is the focus of intimate spaces. By locating the entrances not directly in front of the heavily used streets, both noise pollution and unwanted sight of passing cars is mitigated. The gazebo however, is a phenominal use of using shade to create spaces that are smaller than they seem in person. The use of vines as well is also a fantastic idea, one which breaks up the monotony of the concrete structures which are so common in urban areas, such as where this site is located.
