La Bonita Park
Summary
To collect information, I looked up the demographics of the 89101 area code and its residents. Using these facts, I decided what factors I wanted to add into the park, based off of the dominating age groups of this section. I checked out multiple pocket parks throughout Las Vegas to determine how to have functionality within this small space in an arid, desert area. I did sketches to depict how I wanted to layout my park. I had some plans that offered sporting activities, such as basketball courts or a playground, and others that offered large grassy areas with picnic eating spaces.
