Think About:
What is the purpose of a school locker? To store objects that you don't want to hold at the time for later.

How has the locker changed: The locker hasn’t really changed that much, if at all.

How many times do you open your locker a day: None, we don’t open our lockers, because we both do not own lockers.

What do teachers worry about with lockers: They worry about theft, and maybe lockpicking.

What type of material are the lockers made of: The lockers at Butler are made of metal.

Try This:
Lockers in our school:

Things a locker may have in them already: A shelf, vents, hooks, a lock, and a handle for opening the door are the standard things that a locker has in them today.

Things one keeps in their locker in a typical day: A textbook or two, a backpack, a lunchbox (has to be not squished so food is preserved) , and that is pretty much it.

What I wish I could put in my locker: A microwave, and a refrigerator, a drive through window, and an outlet are all things I wish I could put into my locker.

Dimensions of the lockers: 30 in tall, 12 in wide, 13.5 in deep.

The dimensions of the objects that are most commonly found in lockers today:
Backpack: 2.5 ft tall, 1.5 feet wide, 1 ft deep
Textbook: 11 in tall, 8 in wide, 3 in deep
Lunchbox: 1.5 ft tall, 7 in wide, 6 in deep
The width of my school’s hallways: The hallways in the school from open locker to open locker are roughly 150 inches wide.

What I have learned from reading articles about people's complaints with lockers over the years: People over the years have complained about the fat that lockers are too small, and they want a place to store their heavy backpacks and other books that may have an impact on their backs long term health as they age or go through their developmental periods of growth. People also have complained that lockers should be more convenient to use.

What I like or dislike about lockers that are made by today's manufacturers: I like the vents in the lockers because they help keep the contents inside cool enough. I like the locks because it makes people not able to get inside. I dislike the size, i think they are too small for everything we need to store, and i dislike that anyone can see what you”re putting in it.
