We interviewed Ms.Miotto and asked her what she’d like to see have done to her art room to make it aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• More storage
• Furniture that is easy to move
• Windows that open and better curtains to block out light
• Separate space for teaching a class and a creative space
• More sinks that are bigger
• Shelving
• Spotlights
• Track lighting along one wall
• Whiteboard instead of blackboard
• Comfy seating
• Area for all the art machines

Class Activity
• Grade 9-12
• 20 students per class
• 100 students per day

Furniture
Ideally light and movable furniture would be best for this room. Ms. Miotto likes to rearrange the furniture every once in a while and the students need to move it to accommodate for the project their working on.
