Summary

To redesign Mira Loma's Library, collecting information involved many different steps. Having a panel discussion with the principal, the librarian, the facility director, the campus monitor, and the I.S coordinator where the students asked them questions and they gave us the information. Asking students around the school, took pictures, and measured the library structure was another step that helped us collect information.

Many students think that the library is too small and compact which makes it hard to move around. Do to the fact that the library is too small; there is a limited amount of computers for a full class to use. Sometimes a computer is shared by two to three students at once. Another problem is that all of our school text books are all over the place, like in our small media room, the text books are right in the middle of the room and makes it hazard. These are only some of the problems our school library has and we are planning to fix.

Many of the changes Transformation Generation is planning to fix include making the library bigger, adding a second floor; which would be the media room, adding a daycare center, a community garden, tutors, and much more. Our main goal is to make our library eco- friendly, comfortable for the students and open to the community as well.
