2013 national competition project | Library Redesign #255

05/10/13
Overhead view of the library and surrounding space from Google Maps. The library is circled in pink, with pink arrows describing the best view of it. Seen from that side, one can truely see the beauty of our library. The red circled area is the area that I would like to do something with, make it "pretty" and available to the use of students freely and openly. The teal circled area is another free open spot that could be used as a courtyard or relaxationa rea as well. The blue line is the emergency road used by paremedics, firefighters, ect.

Comments

I like the idea of adding a courtyard! It would offer additional choices, greenery and a change of scenery for students!

Good idea using Google maps to show your "master plan" thoughts.

I appreciate your approach of integrating interior and exterior spaces in your design concept.
