Bridging the Gap: Redesigning High Tech High School's Athletic Pavilion
This diagram, created by a fellow entrant/classmate and used with his permission, outlines the sun path over the area. If I want to create a structure that provides sanctuary, it must adhere to the sun path with a design that provides enjoyable conditions throughout the day. The diagram also illustrates the areas that are most prone to flooding. Since High Tech is on a slope, rainwater often collects at the bottom. I need to take this into consideration because the structure must work around (or provide solutions to) the hindrances that the flood spots bring about.

Its great that you are taking these things into account. If you want to create something that will be used and enjoyed into the future, you can`t just come up with a cool idea and create it. You`ve gotta think about how other things will effect it, such as flooding, which is exactly what you`ve done. Great thinking!
