This is a picture of famous Dunlavy Field in Sonora California. The field has beautiful landscape, as the bleachers and entire stadium seem to be part of the surroundings. I really love this style; it gives ruggedness to the sport of football that seems to go hand in hand with the way it’s played. I want to create a similar atmosphere in my school, and I think making our stadium cut into the ground, in somewhat of a valley, would really enhance its visual appeal. This solution would also do much to limit the sound of the field on the surrounding communities, all while keeping the loud atmosphere of Friday night football.
