Redesign Your School Athletic Pavilion | 2014 National High School Architecture Competition #166

This is an aerial view of the current A-TECH field. The PE teachers at A-TECH have some complaints and recommendations that they have put forth. One of the foremost complaints is that equipment is being lost due to the orientation of both the fields and ball courts. Housing developments that were built after the school was completed encircle both the rear sides of the field and occasionally PE equipment is lost over the back fences. A couple of the PE teachers also would recommend that the baseball diamond is not necessary since it does not get used most of the time and takes space away that could be used for other sports or create a better field for soccer, football, frisbee, etc.
