Continuing on with the outdoors incorporation, I wanted to include a place where students could gather outside out of the sun during lunch or after school. My first thought was for a courtyard-type area. This would replace the benches that have little to no shade that are positioned next to the field now. Rather than just have a courtyard, I thought it might be nice to make it a raised platform with benches and a shade structure that ties in with the new gym design.
