This picture is a basic representation of the way the food stand' works. The idea is that it meets size requirements when it is locked up and not in use, but when it is being used it unlatches, therefore separating the two halves. With the two halves separates this gives whoever happens to be serving the food, freedom to move around and not feel crammed in their work space.
