This is the top view of the running track. The field is made up of recycled tires. We decided to add this feature to the track course because tires can be used for a lot of things; for example, they are used for bicycles, cars, and other transportable vehicles. Tires are made up of rubber. Once rubber is placed on something, it has that soft and bounce feeling for the person to keep balance and stability when they're running. Also, we added the recycled tires due to the fact that rubber is better polyurethane for an indoor running track because there can be no damage to the track while it's indoors.
