This is the final design that I have chosen and created for my Pocket Park submission. I meant to keep it simple with a large playground area that is geared towards kids and two picnic areas. The open grassy field in the lower region can be used for all sorts of recreational activities.

Adaptive Reuse

Architects often find creative ways to reuse old structures that are no longer in use. Check out how old rail lines were adapted to create New York's High Line and Chicago's 606.

Overall the design is nice but it seems to plan, like you don't have much on your park and a bunch of open space guarded by a tree or two, like there isn't a big field for kids to play a game of football or catch without having to go around a tree. I like the pathways and how it goes through the whole park and how you get to see everything. it is just the placements on the trees, they look scattered around

Seems like a good layout and your walkways are cool but they are all diffrently sized and thats kind of random and weird. Overal really nice design and looks like you have stuff for all kinds of people.

What are you going to do with shading over the playground. The space below is too open and could use some more of anything like trees or things of that sort.

Tree placement is unusual. There seems to be an excess of trees in the northern, western, and eastern sides of the park.

Hello! I've noticed a couple comments on the open space below the park and I would just like to point out that the space is purely for large recreational activities such as a game of football and etc.
