Arguably, one of the most important features to a park is it's foliage and vegetation, thus it was paramount to select plants that not only were drought tolerant, but ones that were very low maintenance and had non invasive root systems. By using SNWA as a guide to help select plants specifically for the desert environment the park, whilst keeping in mind the desert climate does not sacrifice on beautiful greenery.
