This shows two ideal spots I would place the park (labeled numbers one and two). I chose to do design number two because it keeps children safe from busy the busy streets. Again, I can place an opening for the neighborhood (labeled with a star).

I think place 2 is a great choice. Considering that children are a significant percent of the residents in the area, it is wise to place it away from the streets. Just be sure to include pathways to the park so that children do not get lost while walking to and from the park.
