For the design in the second floor with the rooms, we had originally decided that the conference rooms be enclosed with books on the outer portion. As we began creating the building, we decided to change our original plans. Instead of a circle, we went with a hexagon shape making it easier for the books to sit on the outside shelves. Deeper into the assignment, we changed the walls into glass windows, making it easy with the new shape we chose to do. The glass windows are not fully visible inside to give the occupants a little sense of privacy with a sleek design.
