This is a great image and, I assume, the actual school. My only suggestion would be to take it in to Photoshop (if you have the skills) and annotate the photo by pointing out with an arrow or circle (red will stand out) where exactly the cafeteria is located.
Overall I think the photos are great but I think you are relying too much on images to brainstorm and not enough on sketching and diagramming. As designers we are always sketching and drawing to think through new possibilities. The design process is an exploration and that exploration should have specific sketches along the way.
