I am using solar panels to offset electricity costs. With this particular array, about 14Kw/hr will be produced at peak daylight and about 10Kw/hr on average during daytime. Not only would this array power the cafeteria, but some electricity could be used to power other parts of the school. This array would cost about $30,000 and would pay for its self within a year.

excellent consideration, especially thinking about generating additional electrical capacity for the rest of teh school.

The project is really that good. It is one of the things they are very proud of. - Feed the Children Reviews
